RELIEF MATERIALS FOR CHILDREN WORTH RS 1 CRORE DONATED BY PATANJALI FLAGGED OFF


Imphal: Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West, Shri Th. Kirankumar Singh, today flagged off relief products donated by Patanjali from Imphal West DC complex. The relief materials will be distributed to the relief centres in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Kakching, Churachandpur, Kangpokpi and Tengnoupal districts respectively.
The donation was made by Patanjali, the National Resource Organisation of DAY-NRLM under the initiative of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM). With a commitment to aid the most vulnerable section of the society, Patanjali has donated goods worth Rs. 1 crore to support the children and infants residing at relief camps across the state. Recognising the urgent need for basic nutrition, the contribution of Patanjali aims to ensure that the young receive proper nourishment during their stay. Items donated includes suji, atta, cornflakes, biscuits, oats, sugar among others.
The flag-off function was attended by Smt. N. Bandana Devi, State Mission Director, MSRLM, officials and staffs of MSRLM. (DIPR)
