Pencak Silat Association of Manipur, along with team arrived Imphal

Imphal : On 4th November, the Pencak Silat Association of Manipur, along with their team officials, arrived at the Imphal International Airport from Tongan district, carrying a total of 8 medals (3 gold and 5 bronze) from the 37th National Games held in Goa from October 26th to November 9th. The gold medals were secured in various categories by Sinam Chingkhei and Sinam Jeevan in the men’s artistic double, Yaikhom Anjali Devi in the female tending under 60kg, and Sanasam Sophia Chanu in the female tending under 70kg. Additionally, bronze medals were won by Thingbaijam Dayalaksmi Chanu and Thokchom Benao Chanu in the female Artistic Double category, Shamjetshabam Bidyaluxmi in the female tending 45kg, Naorem Boynao in the male tending under 55kg, Yaikhom Kiran in the male tending under 60kg, and Buidrom Bishan Meitei in the male tending under 65kg weight category.
