Thoubal: Deputy Commissioner Thoubal, Shri Ahanthem Subhash Singh, IAS, today chaired and reviewed action plans and preparations for smooth and successful conduct of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and upcoming General Elections to Lok Sabha – 2024.
During the meeting held at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner said the meeting was held with the aim for better coordination among departments towards achieving optimal utilization and implementation of schemes.
Stating that the District Administration needs cooperarion of all the Line Departments to successfully organise ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, the Deputy Commissioner said that the yatra is aimed to ensure saturation of flagship govt schemes by creating awareness and providing benefits of welfare schemes. He said that the government have been taking continuous efforts to achieve 100 percent saturation of central government schemes.
During the meeting, the DC directed the Officers to ensure maximum public participation. It was informed that Digital Vans will traverse all Wards and Blocks creating awareness to disseminate crucial information and generate widespread publicity about the government schemes.
Underlining the collaborative nature of the endeavor, the DC urged every department to actively participate in the campaign by overseeing the dissemination of scheme-related information to eligible yet uncovered individuals.
Shri Ahanthem Subhash Singh also directed the Head of Offices to submit employee details of concerned Departments/Offices for appointment of Sector Officers and preparation of employee database for the upcoming 2024 general elections cautioning them not to hide employee details. He said the district administration have been undertaking various measures for smooth and successful conduct of the General Election to the Lok Sabha-2024.
Today’s meeting was attended by ADM, Shri B Lokeshor Sharma, Additional SP, Shri N. Suraj Singh, SDO Thoubal, Mayengbam Ranjeeta, CMO Thoubal Dr Y. Nokul, Shri Arambam Anilkumar, Zonal Education Officer, Shri Ksh. Umananda, CEO, Zilla Parishad Thoubal, Shri Kangujam Nongpoknganba, District Social Welfare Officer Shri E. Somorendro Singh, EE/DRDA, Thoubal, District Information Officer, Thoubal, Tenshubam Sangeeta, officers of District Administration, Head of Offices of Thoubal and District level g Officers of various departments.
