Imphal: On the 16th Day, the MAYOL long march today reached Wangoi Upokpi in Imphal West district Manipur.
The volunteers of the long march after spreading their message for national regeneration at almost all people of the state by walking for over 550 Km halt for a night at Mayang Imphal and started for Wangoi area. As the volunteers reached Wangoi Upokpi today morning large number of people accorded them warm receptions shouting slogans for unity.
A public meeting held at Wangoi Upokpi was attended by Khuraijam Athouba, Vice President, IPSA and Paojel Chaoba, Editor, The Frontier Manipur as resource persons.
After the meeting, the committed young volunteers from MAYOL continued towards Santipur, Waheng Khuman, Leimapokpam, Thiyam Langpok Lairenjam, Mekola, and evening session meeting will be held Malom Tuliyaima Ibudhou Pakhangba Laibung and hold night at the Malom Megha High School, Imphal West district.
