Karang, Thanga: This evening, Shri M. Asnikumar Singh, the esteemed senior spokesperson of BJP Manipur Pradesh and Prabhari of the outer parliamentary constituency, as well as Chairman of the Loktak Development Authority, led a dynamic election campaign for Shri Th. Basantakumar Singh (IPS Retd), the current Education & Law Minister in the state, and BJP’s candidate from the Inner Parliamentary Constituency at Karang Island, Thanga.
He reached out to the residents of Karang Island, nestled within Loktak Lake under the Thanga constituency, and garnered tremendous support from the local community. Mr. Asnikumar received a warm welcome from a multitude of key voters, including Meira Paibi Leaders, members of the Karang Island Development Organization (KIDO), all three Panchayat ward members, and committed BJP supporters. The overwhelming enthusiasm and support demonstrated by the attendees, including prominent women leaders and party activists, underscored our collective dedication to fostering peace, progress, and prosperity under the BJP’s leadership. Despite the short notice, the meeting proved to be a resounding success.
During the event, Shri Asnikumar proudly emphasized the unwavering commitment of the BJP government led by CM Shri N Biren Singh towards the advancement and well-being of the fishing community. He also shed light on the decades-long misgovernance of the Congress government, citing instances of communalization, divisive policies, and negligence of national security by allowing illegal migration, fostering poppy cultivation, and exploiting natural resources like Loktak Lake. Shri Asnikumar condemned the exploitation of thousands of fishing communities under the Congress regime, branding them as adversaries to the welfare of Loktak’s fishing populace.
The gathering concluded with a powerful resolution to secure the highest possible number of votes for the BJP from both polling stations for Shri Th. Basantakumar Singh. Standing united in our mission for progress and prosperity, under the esteemed leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, he also echoed the sentiments expressed by Shri Amit Shah regarding the unwavering integrity of Manipur, firmly asserting that under BJP rule, Manipur remains indivisible.
