Imphal – The Royal Riders Manipur successfully concluded their month-long environmental campaign with a significant ceremony at the Baruni hill range. This event marked the end of the 13th edition of ‘Mahousa Ima Ningsing Tha’, celebrated throughout the past month. In a special observance of World Environment Day, the riders gathered at the Kangla Western Gate in Imphal to plant saplings, demonstrating their commitment to environmental conservation.
Under the leadership of President R.K. Tombisana, the riders embarked on a journey towards a greener future, with President Tombisana flagging off the event. The riders also distributed tree saplings and stickers at key locations, including the Kangla main gate and Ima Market, to promote environmental stewardship.
In his address, President Tombisana highlighted the comprehensive nature of the campaign, which included tree planting, awareness programs, and a painting competition in schools. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in protecting the environment for the benefit of both current and future generations.
