Imphal: Assam Rifles has initiated an educational workshop tour to IISER Kolkatta aimed at empowering Internally Displaced Children from various communities in Manipur.

Major General Suresh Kumar Bhambhu, SM, Inspector General AR(E), recently engaged and inspired 20 selected students at Bala Vidhya Mandir, Imphal on 26 June 2024, sharing his insights to ignite their young minds about the educational and social benefits of this tour.
Through this collaboration with IISER Kolkata, Assam Rifles not only aims to enhance educational outcomes but also to instill hope and aspiration among the youth affected by ethnic clashes in Manipur. It underscores their commitment to fostering sustainable pathways for peaceful community development through education and empowerment.
