Immediate clearing of obstructed areas, including weeds and garbage, is underway to facilitate unimpeded water flow.
Team LDA continues rescue operations in Singjamei, maintaining close coordination with district authorities, government agencies, and local volunteers to ensure a cohesive response. The LDA acknowledges the crucial support of the Thanga fishing community, whose members and boats are essential to the ongoing relief efforts. This collaboration highlights the enduring partnership between LDA and the Loktak Lake fishing community in joint conservation and sustainable livelihood initiatives.

He also appreciated the contributions of the NDRF Team, SDRF Team, District Administration, State Fire Services, Assam Rifles, and local volunteers.

The dedicated LDA team stands ready to support affected communities and assist district administrations in implementing necessary preventive actions.
