Kangchup based Assam Rifles Batallion received multiples requests from local schools of Phayeng, Lamsang and Imphal requesting assistance for infrastructure development (Scientific laboratories and Libraries) in their respective schools.
Based on these requests for supporting and facilitating the education in Manipur, a Mega Scientific Workshop, Career Counselling , Books and Foldoscope distr ceremony was conducted at PRAJA school Lamsang with students participating from other schools visiting PRAJA school Lamsang campus
Total number of beneficiaries of the said event are 900 students and 30 teachers from PRAJA school Lamsang, RB School Lamsang, Acumen School Phayeng, Phayeng High school and Bal Vidya mandir, Imphal in which a total of 350 books and 200 foldoscopes were distributed thereby positively engaging the budding minds of Manipur.
This endeavor reflects the commitment of Assam Rifles for its active engagement in community welfare, garnering appreciation from the local communities for this thoughtful gesture in uplifting standards of education in the fringe regions of Manipur.
