Imphal: The District Governor’s Official Visitation of Lions International District 322D was jointly hosted by the Lions Club of Canchipur Centurion, Lions Club of Canchipur Greater, Lions Club of Canchipur Palace, Lions Club of Canchipur Unified, and Lions Club of Singjamei on Thursday at the Seminar Hall, Department of Physics, Manipur University Campus.
The event was graced by District Governor Lion Lalit Kumar Kothari PMJF as Chief Guest. Distinguished Past District Governors Lion Th. Kesho Singh PMJF, Lion Prof. W. Gopimohan Singh PMJF, Lion M. Gojendra Singh MJF, SCA, and Lion H. Manikumar Singh MJF attended as Special Guests.
The programme commenced with a Board of Directors meeting with the District Governor, followed by rituals, felicitations, introduction of dignitaries on the dais, and the lighting of the inaugural lamp. A welcome address and secretaries’ reports were presented before the Chief Guest delivered his inspiring address.
As part of the ceremony, the District Governor distributed District Lapel Pins to members, and a formal Resolution of Appreciation was handed over in recognition of his leadership and service.
Delivering the Vote of Thanks, Lion Keisham Yaiphaba, President of the Lions Club of Canchipur Centurion, expressed deep gratitude to the Chief Guest, senior Lions, dignitaries, and members for their support and encouragement. He further lauded the teamwork of the host clubs in making the event a grand success.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, followed by dinner.
