Premnagar Village, Leimakhong, Kangpokpi District, Nov 2: Continuing its community welfare work under Operation Sadbhavana, the Indian Army has extended support to Premnagar School at Leimakhong to strengthen its infrastructure and improve the learning environment for students.

As part of its sustained efforts in Manipur, the Army has earlier installed solar lights, provided water supply, supplied furniture for a community hall, given water coolers to local residents, and distributed 25 sewing machines to women at Kanto Sabal to promote self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
In the latest initiative, the Army handed over 8 tables, 2 large almirahs, 10 chairs and 2 water coolers to the school principal in the presence of the village head.

The support aims to create a more comfortable and conducive atmosphere for learning, helping students study better and realise their potential. By improving basic amenities and educational infrastructure in schools, the Army seeks to encourage learning and open up more opportunities for young minds.
Such initiatives reflect the Army’s belief that quality education is the foundation of a brighter future, and an important step towards building an educated, empowered and progressive society.
