Maheshwar Thounaojam organized Candle Light at Delhi

Delhi: Political activist Maheshwar Thounaojam organized a Candle Light condolence event on Safdarjang Road in Delhi to remember and pay homage to the Meitei martyrs who were brutally killed by Kuki Militants. The event aimed to seek peace for the departed souls and condemn the tragic incidents that occurred in Manipur. Maheshwar emphasized the need for unity among communities in Manipur and urged for collective efforts towards building a peaceful and prosperous future for the state and the nation.

He expressed concern about the ground reality in Manipur and called for the representation of Manipur’s issues in the winter session of Parliament. Maheshwar emphasized the importance of leaders from Manipur taking a stand on national platforms to address the challenges faced by the state. He called for decisive actions and resolutions to bring about positive change.

Additionally, Maheshwar highlighted the need for unity among communities and urged everyone to work towards the common goal of a harmonious Manipur.
