Imphal: Chief Minister N Biren Singh spearheaded a pivotal cabinet meeting at the DC office in Chandel, inaugurating projects totaling Rs. 126.54 crore and laying the foundation stone for projects worth Rs. 86.45 crore. The initiatives span connectivity, infrastructure, health, and education, amounting to a staggering Rs. 213.99 crore. Notable inaugurated projects include the Model Residential School at Mantri Pantha, Girls’ Hostel for Minority Students at Chakpikarong, and Upgradation of Phiran Leihao PS to UPS. Chief Minister N Biren Singh expressed optimism about achieving various milestones in connectivity, infrastructure, health, and education for the overall growth and well-being of the people of Chandel. The cabinet meeting was attended by key ministers, including Thongam Biswajit, Yumnam Khemchand, Konthoujam Govindas, Awangbow Newmai, Dr. Sapam Ranjan, Leishangthem Susindro, Heikham Dingo, Thounaojam Basantakumar, Khashim Vashum, along with several MLAs and high-ranking officials from the government and the Police Department.
