Imphal: A one-day free medical camp was successfully conducted today at Sinsuba Sanglen, near MEIRA Club, Bashikhong, under the Thongju Assembly Constituency in Imphal East district.
The camp was organized by Thingujam Munindro @ Imo Lukok and his family from Khongman Zone 5 as a humanitarian effort to support families affected by the recent floods in Thongju Assembly constituency of Imphal East district.
A team of 20 specialist doctors from various medical fields—including General Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, ENT, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Dermatology, and Dentistry—volunteered their services during the camp.
A large number of people—including elderly men and women, as well as young boys and girls—received free health check-ups and medical consultations, providing much-needed care to vulnerable communities in Bashikhong and nearby areas.
This initiative reflects the spirit of community solidarity and the importance of timely medical outreach in times of crisis.
