IMPHAL: Shri MK Preshow Shimray, Former Deputy Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, Former Hon’ble MLA of 45-Chingai (ST) Assembly Constituency, and Spokesperson of BJP Manipur Pradesh, along with Shri Sana Meitram, Founder and National General Secretary of One India Foundation, New Delhi, called on Most Rev. Dominic Lumon, Archbishop Emeritus of Imphal, at his residence St. Joseph’s Home, Mantripukhri, Imphal.
During the visit, Shri Preshow Shimray and Shri Sana Meitram also met Rev. Fr Nganingmi Francis, Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Mantripukhri.
As part of the meeting, the two leaders presented Most Rev. Dominic Lumon with a book titled 12 Years of Vishwas Ke, Vikas Ke, Jan-Kalyan Ke, marking the successful completion of 12 years of the Modi-led NDA Government. A traditional Lengyan was also presented to the Archbishop Emeritus.
During the interaction, Most Rev. Dominic Lumon offered prayers for the nation and for peaceful co-existence to prevail in the state of Manipur. He also prayed that developmental progress reaches the most backward areas of the state, and for the harmony and integrity of Manipur.
