Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR : BIOFACH INDIA 2026, India’s premier trade fair for organic and sustainable food, began today at the India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), Greater Noida.
The 3-day expo, organized by APEDA along with NÜRNBERG MESSE, is being held alongside Natural Expo India and Millets India.
150+ Stalls, 10-12 States Participate
The fair has brought together around 150 stalls from 10 to 12 states of India. Enterprises, FPOs, SHGs and state agencies are showcasing products mainly focused on organic food, natural products, millets and sustainable agriculture under the theme “Sustainable Supply Chains India FOOD”.
Manipur Shines at BIOFACH with MOMA
The Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA) is also participating in the expo and has set up a dedicated pavilion to represent the state’s rich organic heritage.
Products from Manipur on display include:
– GI & Indigenous Crops: Chakhao Black Rice, Sararakhong Hathei Chilli
– Spices: King Chilli / U-Morok, Ginger, Turmeric
– Fruits: Passionfruit, Pineapple, Kachai Lemon
– Processed Foods: Value-added products made by SHGs and FPOs from the state
Officials from MOMA said the platform will help Manipur’s organic farmers and entrepreneurs connect with national buyers, exporters, and retail chains, and promote the state’s organic by tradition” identity.
