Homework has commenced on a new managerial plan to make the training programs conducted at the Police Tactical Training College in Jargah, West Nawalparasi, more organized, professional, and contemporary. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ajay KC, who recently assumed the responsibility as the head of the college following a decision by the Nepal Police Headquarters, introduced the enhancement plan during a discussion with subordinate police officers and staff.
The discussion, which focused on making police tactical training more effective and scientific, saw the participation of the college’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Pradip Bahadur Chhetri along with the entire departmental team.

During the interaction, the newly appointed college chief, SSP KC, emphasized the need to upgrade training standards to prepare personnel capable of tackling evolving security challenges in the field. The college plans to refine and better organize training in traditional areas such as maintaining peace and order, riot control, and strategic skills.
On the occasion, SSP KC expressed his commitment to taking the quality of training to new heights through collective efforts and unity within the entire college family. Feedback was also collected from subordinate staff regarding practical issues faced during training execution and areas that require improvement.

Special dialogue was held with the staff concerning the daily training schedules to boost the efficiency of trainees, optimal utilization of physical infrastructure, and enhancing the capability of instructors. Furthermore, leveraging the expertise of SSP KC—who has prior experience serving in the Cyber Bureau—the college aims to strengthen its curriculum by providing practical knowledge on digital technology and modern security strategies to frontline police personnel.
